Did you know that the suffix ‘oma’ has as one of its possible meaning ‘paunch’. Will I get a paunch if I eat at Pisoma? Probably not. But the connection to the pig is kind of cute!
You learn something new every day!
Oh, and, did you know that Oma means ‘grandma’ in German?
Makes me want a caramel roll.
I think Oma also means grandmother in Japanese, but it could be Oba.
